After the release of Majesty, Wasiu and Apashe returned—not on a mission to save humanity, but simply because now they’re famous billionaires and can do whatever they want. Deal with it. The track was recorded with the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra SIF 309 and supported by a North American and European tour.
As part of Adrian’s direction, I was brought on to help construct the spaceship sequence. My role included sourcing and gathering materials, assisting in the physical build, and fabricating a custom pilot control board to simulate a spaceship environment. The result was a convincing, stylized set piece that blended seamlessly into the futuristic aesthetic of the project.
The orginal idea came from the director wanting to have a portal for a spaceship.
My thinking then went to this: a wood plank with a rubber inside and plexiglass in the front and the back of the “portal” to create the illusion of the inside of a space ship.
For gathering materials, I sourced technology that was retro, had lighting and could reflect upon the mask.
