“TALES OF MELEE ISLAND”: A Monkey Island Fan Film

In this fan fiction film, a down-trodden pirate recounts his misadventure to his mateys at the local Scumm Bar. Based on the original Lucas Arts point-and-click adventure game "Secret of Monkey Island" by Ron Gilbert. I helped create the costumes and tried to match the characters into real life.

I was in charge of costumes and the props. This was an arggg-uable a fun set to work on, and a fun challenge in find costumes in digital plateform to tangible look-a-likes.
Directed and produced by Julian Stamboulieh, this fan made film is really made to bring the pirate out of you. Inspired by the click and point game Monkey Island. I helped with costuming a the xharacters from the game onto set; making these characters from the digital world come to life. In addition, I got to set design the bar a bit with objects to make the scene more pirate-like.
